Extended compliance
Retention from 24 to 60 months for FSMA-204 (USA), EUDR (Europe), or DSCSA (pharma). Required if you export to those markets or the regulator demands it.
Additional DPP languages
For selling in markets where consumers scan QR codes in different languages. Add as many as you need, without changing your plan.

FAQ
What we get asked the most
Why is the metric "batches/mo" and not "blockchain transactions"?
Because you think in batches (fruit batches, cattle heads, drug runs). Internally we measure each on-chain event — a typical batch generates ~10 events (creation, transformations, custody transfers, QC) — but we bill you with the unit you already use.
What happens if I exceed my batch quota this month?
You only pay overage on what you actually used, at your plan rate (USD 0.50 to 0.20 per batch by tier). No projections, no estimated invoices. If monthly overage consistently exceeds the gap to the next plan, we let you know to upgrade — it ends up cheaper.
Do I have to pay gas, buy crypto, or manage wallets?
No. Darwin runs the entire blockchain layer through an internal relayer. You don't need a wallet, you don't buy tokens, you don't manage keys. If gas costs spike out of range, we absorb it up to the contractual threshold.
Is my data locked into Darwin?
No. Data is 100% yours. At contract end you can export everything in GS1 / JSON format, and you have 90 days to download the historical archive. The on-chain record stays persisted on the blockchain (verifiable by you or any third party).
Can I change plans whenever I want?
Yes. We review actual usage with you every quarter. If you're under-using, we offer a downgrade. If you're growing, we upgrade in an orderly way. You'll never pay upfront for volume you don't use.
What does the implementation include exactly?
Each level covers different phases: Discovery (diagnostic), MVP (initial production setup), and Go-Live (operations handoff). The detail is documented in each phase's SOW with success criteria and verifiable deliverables. If you decide not to continue after Discovery, a 10% kill fee applies on the next phase's value.
