Solution

End-to-end food traceability

From field to shelf — digital capture at origin, immutable blockchain records, and a Digital Product Passport for consumers. Verifiable traceability for compliance, operational efficiency and brand trust.

Beyond compliance

Traceability as a competitive advantage

One system, four benefits

Traceability done right is not a regulatory cost — it's a strategic asset that pays off across multiple dimensions of the business.

Regulatory compliance

FSMA 204 (U.S.), EUDR (E.U.), Global GAP, BRC and many others — all require verifiable traceability.

Consumer trust

Consumers pay more for food with transparent origin. Verifiable traceability builds the brand.

Operational efficiency

Fewer losses, less rework, recalls in hours (not days), yield optimization with AI over real events.

Anti-fraud protection

Immutable on-chain records prevent substitutions, adulterations and false claims in the chain.

Flow

How Darwin works end-to-end

1. Capture at origin with Captia

Operators in the field or plant log events from mobile — with geolocation, photos and offline sync.

2. Structuring with Tracium

Tracium validates and structures events per required standards (CTEs/KDEs for FSMA, DDS for EUDR, GS1 EPCIS).

3. Immutable on-chain anchoring

Critical records are anchored on blockchain (Polygon PoS, OP Stack L2) — integrity guaranteed for audits.

4. Digital Product Passport with Fidenta

Every product gets a QR showing origin, certifications and environmental footprint — accessible to consumers, retailers and auditors.

5. AI-powered analysis

Anomaly detection, quality prediction and yield optimization — AI models on your traceability events.

Food traceability flow

Across the chain

One solution, every actor

Each link in the chain sees exactly what they need — and contributes the information that depends on them.

Primary producer

Offline-first mobile capture, adaptive forms, digital evidence. Onboarding in minutes, not months.

Industrial producer

Lot integrity, mass balance, ERP and IoT sensor integration. Anomaly detection on production lines.

Exporter

Digital dossier ready for international compliance (FSMA 204, EUDR, GS1). Less friction at customs and with importers.

Importer

End-to-end visibility of the supplier chain, automatic compliance reports, verifiable due diligence.

Retailer

Recall in under 24 hours, automatic compliance reports, multi-tier visibility of your supplier network.

Consumer

QR access to the verifiable product story: origin, certifications, environmental footprint, sustainability.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Which traceability standards do you cover?

FSMA 204 (FDA), EUDR (E.U.), GS1 EPCIS 2.0, Global GAP, BRC, Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade and other private certifications. A single dataset serves multiple standards.

Can I use only part of the platform?

Yes. Captia, Tracium and Fidenta work together but also separately. You can start by capturing data with Captia and add Tracium and Fidenta in later stages.

How do you integrate with my existing ERP?

We have open APIs and connectors for SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics and custom ERPs. Integration is defined in the Discovery stage.

What if my suppliers don't want to digitize?

Captia is so simple it onboards in minutes, even for operators with little digital experience. We have adoption playbooks proven in rural operations.

Is the data private?

Yes. End-to-end encryption, role-based access control and customer data sovereignty. Only strictly necessary data is written on-chain; sensitive data stays protected.

How much does it cost?

Depends on operation size and scope. We start with a free Discovery to size it properly. Talk to us for custom pricing.
